The Power of a Story

Event & Exhibition Production

Client: Legacy of War Foundation

We worked with internationally renowned humanitarian photographer Giles Duley to bring his award winning exhibition to the iconic St Mary in the Castle, Hastings. The immersive event saw Syrian families from charity ‘Refugee Buddy Project’ collaborating with local chefs to serve food for 260 people across two nights, along with Duley presenting his TED talk and music from international performers. We also ran a subsequent exhibition of Duley’s portrait photographs in the venue’s crypt for a further month.

The project was part of Legacy of War’s ongoing project to use food and art to bring people together in support of people affected by war.
